1946 Milton Manufacturing is founded in a small garage on the east side of Detroit

1966 Milton Manufacturing becomes a Tier-1 Supplier to Chrysler

1977 Jim Green Sr. buys the business from Tom Milton

2002 Jim Green Jr. purchases the business from his father.

EXPANSION THROUGH ACQUISITION

2005 Milton acquires Zinc and Die Cast

2006 Milton acquires Wayne Product Corporation, Quality Die Casting, and Patco

2010 Milton acquires D&M Truck Tops

MILTON ENTERS THE DEFENSE MARKET

2007 Milton begins making parts for SPAWAR

2008 Milton becomes a supplier to Navistar Defense

2011 Milton becomes a certified HUBZone

2013 Shelly Green becomes CEO & Owner, Milton is now a Woman-Owned Small Business

2014 Milton’s Intellectual Property includes more than 300 parts developed for the Navistar MaxxPro

2015 Milton has more than 250,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities

2017 Milton is a Navistar Diamond Supplier for 5 consecutive years

2017 U.S. Secretary of Labor, Alexander Acosta, visits Milton Manufacturing

2017 Milton represents the state of Michigan at the White House for Made in America day

2018 Milton begins selling direct to the government and is assigned our first NSN

2018 Milton has 300,000 square feet of manufacturing, industrial sewing, assembly, kitting, product development, prototyping, and systems integration facilities.
